Docks and Harbors in World War II Online serve two purposes. The first purpose is that they act as a spawn point for ships. The second purpose is they serve as a load area for vehicles and infantry. They also hold a radio table thus are capturable.

All Docks and Harbors may spawn patrol boats (Fairmiles). Only certain deepwater harbors designated by your High Command as a location for a Naval deployment can spawn destroyers and freighters.
