Sightseeing
From Battleground Europe Wiki
In the world of WWII Online, one can see many interesting sights. Locations of interest include unique buildings and structures, memorials, and terrain features. Meticulously placed by the map builders, these locations represent the developers love and attention to detail they have placed into the game. There are also many places ingame which closely resemble their real-world counterparts.

Builders Bridge
Located in Dinant, France. Silver and Gold members of the builders program have their names enscribed on the plaques beneath the statues.
Spa-Francorchamps Racetrack
Located south of Spa between Stavelot and Malmedy, Belgium. The racetrack is used by both Allied and Axis forces for recreational racing while on R&R.
The Racetrack Facilities
Willemstad Castle
Located in Willemstad, Holland.
Notre Dame De Verdun
Located on top of the northeast hill overlooking Verdun, France.
Gent Castle
Located in the center of Gent, Belgium.
Brussels Tower
Located on the south end of the park in Brussels, Belgium.
Breda Tower
Located in central Breda, Holland.
Lac De La Plate Taille
Located between Cerfontaine and Beaumont. For the longest time it was the only lake in the theater. However, several more lakes have been added in 1.28.5.
Reims Cathedral
Located in southwest Reims, France.
The Paris Tree
The location of the city of Paris is currently marked by a tree. If one goes on Google Earth using the same latitude and longitude, the location of the tree is actually very close to a real world counterpart located in a playschool playground. It should be noted that there are plans for Paris to be placed in the game world, however this will be in the far future.
The House
Talk of placing scattered houses and farms throughout the gameworld has been talked for years. It seems that it'll need to wait for TE II to be implemented for them to act as destoyable buildings rather than unchangeable terrain items (like trees), however there is one house east of Boxtel that stands alone in the middle of the countryside.
The Fence
Northwest of Roosendaal one can find a strange, zig-zagging fence out in the countryside.
The Alps
For the truly adventurous, one can trek to the Alps rendered within the game world. Groups of players often arrange expeditions, often setting up a msp in the Alps for easy access. Once there, one is exposed to an incredible scenic view that exhibits the power of the graphics engine.
Norwegian fjords
Another optional adventure is traveling to Norway to sightsee the fjords.
The End of the World
For the true thrill seeker, one can travel to the end (or edge) of the world.
