Requirements
The system specifications needed to run the game have increased overtime so that it can support new technologies which improve the game experience. These advancements will continue.
PC
- Windows XP Service Pack 2
- 2.0+ GHz CPU (Dual Core Processor Recommended)
- 1 GB of RAM (2 GB Recommended)
- 128 MB Dedicated 3D Video Card (OpenGL v1.2 and Shader 2.0 compliant)
- Examples:
- NVidia GeForce 5000 series or better
- ATI Radeon 9800 or better
- Strongly Recommended:
- NVidia GeForce 7000 series or better
- ATI Radeon X1600 series or better
- Examples:
- DirectSound-compatibile audio processor
- Broadband Strongly Recommended: 128+ Mbps
- 2GB free hard disc space

- USB joystick highly recommended

Peripherals
Suggested types of peripherals to enhance your experience.
Monitor: Bigger the better, but be aware of what your video card can support.
Input device: A top quality mouse or such does improve game control/interaction.
Joystick: Any brand name company (Saitek, Logitech, Microsoft, CH), 3 axis with throttle (Low cost sticks will be disappointing).
Rudder Pedals: Optional, but well worth it if you fly a lot.
Audio output: A top quality headset or 5.1 sound system is highly recommended!
Others:
TrackIR (tm) is supported by the game and is popular with some players.
