"Toad at War HC Manual" is a learning tool for players and HC to better understand BE. It is encouraged that the reader read the concepts and philosophies in this manual and come to their own conclusions. This manual is not intended to be "the way to do things." It is the start of a conversation.


Most reading this are going to look for some simple rules to improve their HC game. Words of wisdom such as "never put the HQ on the front line." While you may find some truisms in this manual, this manual is more designed to make you think. HC is a thinking position that relies on your brains and knowledge, not the speed of your trigger finger. I could give truisms that are true "most of the time," and most would be happy untill that "some of the time" happens and you get pwned.


This manual breaks down the WHY the truism is correct 95% of the time and wrong 5%. Once you know the why, you’ll understand the game at its most basic levels. Once you understand the game, you can learn to dominate your opponent. Many have wisdom that is true 95% of the time. Knowing when the situation reverses that other 5% is the difference between good and great.
