Using .report advices

From Battleground Europe Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

This command is used to report a problem to a GameMaster. You can only send one .report each hour. If there is a GameMaster online he will read it and will act if he thinks so. If there is no GameMaster online it will be saved for later analysis.

Sintax is: .report message

You shouldn't abuse using this command. It was made to report bugs (for example if you see a floating tree or you couldn't exit from a building) or any problem you think deserves to be reported (for example a player cheating, but only if you are sure he cheats). Sending spam thru .report only make CRS & GameMaster work harder and hides useful .report messages, so please be wise using .report.

This is (aprox) how GameMasters views your .report:

2006-05-10 18:01:20 PLAYER NAME
Mission: English 3rd Commandos MissionLeaderName mission near Moerdijk N51.41.40 E4.39.8
Origin: Willemstad
Message: "text"

As you can see: where are you, your mission and Brigade, and the time are stored automatically, so is not useful insert this kind of information on your message.
