== Squad History ==

The 45th Regimental Combat Team
borrows part of its designation, insignia and nickname from the actual U.S. Army's 45th Infantry Division
The 45th Infantry Division fought in the European Theater of World War II and was recognized as a liberating unit by the US Army's Center of Military History and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 1985.

The 45th Infantry Division gained its nickname, "Thunderbird" division, from the gold thunderbird. This Native American symbol became the division's insignia in 1939. It replaced another previously used Native American symbol that was withdrawn when it became closely associated with the German Political Party that rose to power and dominated Europe during World War II.

We are an Allied Squad. Side switching on occasion is acceptable but please note that we are looking to develop squad unity and straying too much from one side to the other may hinder that. Unfortunately, that will result in removal from the squad. Nothing personal. Thanks for joining!!

3. ALL NEW MEMBERS will be vetted based on gameplay and maturity level. If you know of a player that is interested in joining please let leadership handle the recruiting.
4. Disagreements on subjects should be handled maturely.
5. Ranking up to Executive Officer rank is limited. Exercise leadership skills and you will be considered.
