The PaK. 35/36 was the standard German AT gun at the start of the war, having seen successful service in Spain. By the Battle of France however, it was unable to penetrate the armor on a number of Allied Heavy tanks.
Game Play
Because of its increasing inadequacy the soldiers dubbed it “the door knocker”, all it apparently did was knock on the outside of enemy vehicles to let them know you were there. It was quite accurate and very mobile, but by 1940 this 37mm AT gun simply didn’t have enough power to be truly effective. If you are shooting at enemy tanks, take advantage of the high aiming precision to try to compensate for the poor penetration and aim at vision blocks, turret rings, guns, and tracks. Fire at tanks only if you have a good shot on a vulnerable spot or on the rear/side aspect.
