Introducing ARTILLERY for WWII Online! Since day one you have requested this to be part of the game, and here it is! It also happens to be the longest indirect firing weapons ever to be placed into a video game! Additionally the MG42 is now available for infantry and we've added various other features and fixes. Stay subscribed and help us do even more!


- Artillery units have been added to the game

-- The Allied M2A1 105mm

-- The Axis 10.5cm LeFH18/40 105mm

- A brand new Motorized Mortar and Artillery Leveling System has been added (see the unit's manual for details)

- An updated HUD info window for motorized mortars and artillery has been added to give players specific details for those units

- Added country specific colored smoke rounds to artillery, US-Violet, DE-Blue/White, FR/UK-White

- The infantry MG42 unit has been added to the German spawn list

- 4th quarter Credits update

- Capture timers have been updated for Campaign 191

- A number of unit images have been updated with Propa screenshots

- A few machine guns updated, including: game manual updates, weapon names, tracers and proper weights

- The Panhard, Stewart and Stugs have had their crew members (3D models) updated

- River dams have been added to west of Sheffield, SE of Herdecke and east of Dortmund

- A few of the Spawn In Tips have been updated, more planned in the future

- Fixed an armor issue with the FlaK36 (88mm)

- The Lorraine Anti-Char's driver hatch armor has been fixed

- Some telephone poles and their wires have been replaced

- More textures have been updated in order to help with ATI GPU load times

This quick turn around hotfix is aimed at cleaning up a few issues and features with the new Motorized Mortars and adds a few new game features.


- The game's credits have been updated

- All 81mm motars have had their sound updated

- The BAR now has two grenades and two fewer ammo magazines

- A French variant of the UCM has been added to the French forces

- Bearing information has been added to the Range Finding ability of some commanders

The long awaited Ju88a4 and M1919a6 LMG units have finally been added to the German and US forces. There has also been numerous terrain improvements that include both fixes and new additions. Finally, a bunch of bugs have been squashed in order to enhance game play.


- The Ju88a4 is now added to the German Luftwaffe

- The Americans will now get the M1919a6 LMG for regular infantry and paratroopers

- RDP penalties (slower resupply rates) against aircraft are now configurable (starting at up to 100%)

- The Side Radio Channel is now the default for new players instead of the Origin Channel

- Steam DLC units are now hidden from non-Steam clients

- Specific Mobile Spawn options are now added to the UI truck descriptions

- Granny, the backend system that allows infantry to work, has been upgraded to 2.12 for both Win and Mac clients

- PPO Names have been added to the Primary Weapon HUD window to inform players which PPO is currently selected

- Players will now receive points for destroying PPOs

- When a player requests ammo (.ammo) there will now be a Heads Up Display (HUD) Waypoint added so other players can easily see where the player in need of support is

- De-Cochsdorp and Amsterdam airfields have been added

- Barrage Balloons have been added to Amiens, Canterbury and Koln

- New road tiles have been added around Aarschot and Avesnes

This release brings in the long-awaited AI repair points. It also incorporates a few RDP Bombing-specific changes while also fixing bugs and adds a few more features.


- Shockwave FX added to all bombs

- The Air Raid Siren should trigger more often

- Factory rebuild time has been updated from 48 hours to 72 hours when 100% damaged

- The US RDP is now solely dependent on the UK factories

- RDP penalties (slower resupply rates) against non-aircraft are now configurable (starting at up to 50%) instead of 100% slower

- Whenever receiving an MIA past a configurable time, you will now receive a full RDP penalty

- Mouse freelook automatically enabled for infantry while riding on a vehicle

- Infantry are now visible up to 1,000m

- Infantry level of detail distances have been updated for better graphics

- Engineers can now deploy a Tank Pit PPO

- Trucks can now deploy a Barrage Balloon PPO

- The Credits have been updated

- Players will now receive Mission Points whenever repairing AI

This game update includes several new vehicles (marking 3 roadmap deliveries), including the first Ship in WWII Online in almost 15 years (Trawler)! SPAA’s will be available at Tier 0. Urban Building damage states are also reactivated, which means big city buildings can be destroyed (12 years since this has been possible). There are other several good Bug Fixes including a major STO related crash and many artwork polish related items.

This release is a Hotfix patch to fix a few bugs that popped up in the latest release.

Bug Fixes

- Invisible FRUs should now be fixed

- FPS loss when stacking multiple straight Sandbags together should now be fixed

- Corrected an issue that allowed some PPOs to be placed under player units

- HUD Waypoints should now disappear properly whenever the Mission Lead deletes them or the Mission closes

- Implemented a change that should alleviate Firebugs

- Fixed an issue that was causing continuous messages to appear for the new player AI Notification


- The curved Sandbags should now be able to be attached to one another

- The DB7's Bombardier's altitude gauge is now more visible whenever looking at the instrument view

- A new hotkey Keymapper Option (default shift+y) has been added to allow players to hide/show HUD Waypoints while spawned into the game

- When it's night time in-game, HUD Waypoints will have their opacity reduced by 40% so that they aren't as bright during the night

This release is an assortment of bug fixes, updates and long awaited new features.

Bug Fixes

- Fixed a Playgate (PC only) crash that wasn't allowing for it to download patch files

- Corrected an issue that wasn't showing proper commands in the .help menu

- Fixed the issue that caused engines to fall off whenever plane landing gear were shot

- The M4A3 Sherman's ammo readout has been fixed to represent the proper ammunition being used

- An error that was showing up in the log file has been resolved

- The Sturmgewehr 44 (StG 44) is being added to the German arsenal, in limited quantities

- Kill credits will now be given for running over infantry units with various types of other units

- Bombs have been added to Server Tracked Objects (STOs), this will now allow bomber pilots to kill infantry from above 700m

- Mission Waypoints will now appear both on the player's map and their Heads-Up Display (HUD), this feature can be disabled within the Preference options

- Mission Waypoints are now shared across multiple Missions that have the same Target location

- Whenever a new player, rank 1, shoots an AI unit they will receive an alert that AI units can only be destroyed by larger caliber weapons or grenades

- Combat Engineers have been added to all countries which allow more defined focus on offensive operations

This release fixes some long standing bugs while also introducing some long requested features

Bug Fixes

- When despawning from a Multicrewed mission, the Crew will no longer be sent to the Offline screen

- The Mission Creation Map tab will now automatically be closed whenever spawning into the game world

- Player Ping values were being shown as only half rates, this is now fixed

- Map Icons (players, contact reports and waypoints) now appear larger whenever using a 2k+ monitor

- On screen notifications now appear in the proper location whenever using a 2k+ monitor

- The issue that was causing a player's client to crash whenever using the French language is now fixed


- After installing a PC Patch, the game will now be launched like after a fresh install

- The Char's Loader position (#4) has been removed and the Driver's MG (secondary trigger) has been updated to aim a bit higher

- When a ground unit's Main Gun is disabled, players will now see a notification and chat indicator that their Main Gun is disabled

- When right clicking a valid spawning location a Quick Mission option will now appear which will automatically create a mission from that Origin

Adjusted Content

- The Automatic AO system has been adjusted to take into account Garrisons

- If a player logs into the game and their previous Garrison has now changed sides, a replacement will be found for them

- Towns that are owned by the United States will utilize French Airforce and Naval Garrisons

New Content

- Garrisons for each Branch (Army/Airborne/Airforce/Navy) have been created

- Garrisons have been placed into every town where appropriate

- Separate Inactive and Supply Trickle timers have been added for Garrisons

- The Allied HC can choose which Allied Country can own each of their towns

- The Allied HC will have a 10 minute timer that allows for changing of the town owner, after a battle, without penalty

- The Allied HC can use the current Voting system when manually changing a town's Country

- Towns now have a status (Frontline/Backline/Reserve/Inactive)
